Ambit appoints Prateek Mishra as Group Chief Information Security Officer, ETCISO
Diversified financial services company Ambit has appointed Prateek Mishra as its new Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
In an exclusive conversation with ETCISO, Mishra said, “I shall be working as a Group CISO for entities across Ambit Private Limited. This role, inter alia, ensures compliance with regulatory frameworks from SEBI, RBI, etc., pertaining to cyber security and helps the organisation in enhancing their cyber posture as per industry standards.”
Mishra brings extensive cybersecurity leadership experience across the financial services sector. Prior to joining Ambit, he served as Group CISO at Avendus (2024–2025), where he managed SEBI, RBI, and more.
He was previously CISO at HDFC Credila Financial Services (2022–2024) and CISO at 360 ONE Wealth (formerly IIFL Wealth) (2019–2022), where he anchored enterprise-wide cyber strategy and compliance initiatives.
Mishra’s joining coincides with Ambit’s larger growth momentum; earlier this year, the company expanded its Global Private Client business into Dubai’s DIFC through the acquisition of Moonrock Investments, a DFSA-regulated wealth management firm, furthering its ambition to serve global ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Ambit is a diversified financial services firm with businesses spanning investment banking, institutional equities, lending, wealth management, and an NBFC (non-banking financial company).
Its wealth management arm, Ambit Global Private Client (Ambit GPC), manages over USD 9 billion in assets under management and advice (AUM&A) and serves more than 1,000 ultra-high-net-worth clients. Through its NBFC business, Ambit provides structured lending and credit solutions, further deepening its presence in India’s financial ecosystem.
